The NCP has quit the government for a political solution: Minister Kushbaha

Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has walked out of the Madhes Province government. The ministers who joined the government have resigned from the party and withdrawn their support to the government. Minister for Energy, Water Supply and Irrigation Jawahar Prasad Kushwaha has said that his party has quit the government for a political solution. Talking to media persons, he clarified that he tendered his resignation to find a way out of the situation in which the government was in minority and to pave the way for the formation of a new government.

‘This is a word, we have resigned for a political solution. It is just to open the way for the formation of the government, to make it easier. There is nothing else in it,” he said.

He said that he resigned to find a solution to the government’s minority problem in recent times.

‘We have given this resignation to find a solution to the problem that has been seen in the recent past, the problem of the minority of the government. Otherwise, don’t take it,” he said.

Minister Kushbaha also informed that all the ministers in the government from his party have resigned.
