According to the agreement, the construction was to be completed within the fiscal year 2075÷76, but the deadline was extended time and again till July 30, 2080. However, the construction could not be completed within the stipulated time.

He said that the projects that are found to be the basis for completing the construction will be given the last chance and if the work does not progress even from that, the contract will be terminated and the remaining work will be completed through a new process. Minister Lamsal has clarified that the government has tightened the contract management to end the problems faced by the citizens due to the projects that have been stalled for long and to speed up the construction of public infrastructures.
