. Police have arrested three persons from Tulsipur on the charge of misusing the government seal and selling stolen motorcycles with forged signatures. The arrestees have been identified as 20-year-old Deepak Bhandari, 19-year-old Saroj Gharti Magar and 19-year-old Rajan Bista of Bagchaur municipality-2, Salyan district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Resham Bohara.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bohara, a team was deployed from Area Police Office, Tulsipur under the command of Police Inspector after receiving information that suspicious activities were taking place at Tharmare Bhandari Hotel at Machhapuchhre Tole of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-5 at 5:00 pm on April 15.
The police team recovered various vehicle registration books and fake stamps from them.
The confiscated goods include a vehicle registration book of a motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-046 Pa 3332), a digital stamp of Transport Management Service Office, Birendranagar, Surkhet, a vehicle registration book (Ra 2 Pa 3115) and a Yamaha V-3 motorcycle (Bagmati State 02-045 Pa 1730).
Police have remanded them in custody for five days from the District Court, Ghorahi for further investigation.
