Kathmandu. On Thursday, the first day of weekly trading, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 13.17 points to close at 2825.23 points.
A total of 1,16,53,000 units of shares of 349 companies were traded on the day.
Share prices of 65 companies have increased and 197 have fallen. Today, Hotel Forest Inn Limited has done the most business. The company has a turnover of Rs 360.1 million.
In today’s market, the investors of Suryakunda Hydro Electric Limited have made the highest profit. The company’s share price has hit a positive circuit.
On the other hand, the investors of Dolti Power Company Limited suffered the most. The company’s share price fell by more than 5 percent.
