. The National Examination Board (NEB) is preparing to publish the results of this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE). The board has been carrying out necessary works at a rapid pace after the government gave the final deadline to publish the results by May 29.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations of the Board has issued a notice on how to check the SEE results.
The office has made arrangements to check the results of SEE by sending SMS or directly by visiting the website.
This year, the examination was started from 1,966 examination centers across the country from April 2.
A total of 512,421 students had applied to appear for the exam this year while 23 students had applied from one examination center in Japan.
After the government directed the board to publish the results of the SEE examination held on April 12 within a month, the board was preparing to publish the results by May 12.
In the past, the results were published within three months of the conclusion of the examinations, but this year Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, had directed the board to publish the results within a month before the commencement of the examinations.
This year, the answer sheets of the examination were examined within three days of the completion of the examination at the examination center.

The board has issued a notice today and published the list of websites that will view the results of the SEE. The results can be viewed through SMS, IVR and various websites. According to the office, students can check the results through the official short code by going to the message box of their mobiles.
Similarly, the result can be viewed through call, SMS and USSD at 1600 of Nepal Telecom.
