Kathmandu. The government has adopted a policy to declare Nepal free of street children within the next fiscal year. Presenting the government’s policies and programmes in the joint session of the parliament on Monday, President Ram Chandra Poudel pledged to launch social transformation campaign by implementing the policy of zero tolerance to violence.
According to him, special programs will be launched targeting women, children, people with disabilities and all inclusive communities. Similarly, the government has announced that it will provide company registration, tax exemption, seed capital (seed money) and other services like company registration through the ‘Startup Nepal’ portal to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
The government has adopted a policy of promoting multilateral investment to revitalize the rural economy and develop agriculture as a respectable enterprise. The government has set a target to directly connect the agricultural products with the industry and the market by developing specialised production zones to attract the foreign employment returnee human resources to agricultural enterprises within the country.
