Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Most of the private petrol stations in Kathmandu Valley have remained closed after the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) slashed the price of petroleum products by Rs 20 per litre. With the fall in prices, many private pumps have stopped selling due to losses from old stocks.
The NOC had fixed the new price of petroleum products effective from Tuesday night. Due to the closed pumps, the people who had reached some places to fill fuel have been compelled to return.
