. A man involved in the theft of a scooter has been arrested.
Police on Saturday arrested 31-year-old Maite Singh Syangtan of Sindhuli Marin Rural Municipality-4, Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu on the charge of his involvement in stealing a scooter from Suryabinayak municipality-8, Chukupul.
Acting on a complaint filed by the victim that a scooter (Ba.02-064 Pa 6668) was missing from Suryabinayak Municipality-8, Chukupul on July 17, a police team deployed from District Police Range, Bhaktapur arrested Syangtan with the stolen scooter from Suryabinayak Municipality-1, Sallaghari.
Police are conducting further investigation in this connection.
