. Pashupati Dev Pandey, president of the Readymade Garment Industry Association, said the government was moving towards a private sector-friendly policy.
Talking to media persons after the discussion with the government on Tuesday, he claimed that the country cannot be built without improving the economy as the country’s economy is the government.
‘It seems that the government is completely private sector-friendly. The economy of the country is the government,” he said, adding, “The country cannot be built without improving the economy.” A country cannot be built by exporting people. This country will be built only if people export their products. We’re all excited. Stating that expansion of production-oriented industries was necessary for the country’s economic development, he stressed the need of collaboration between the government and private sector to revive the readymade garment industry.
Stating that the Readymade Garment Industry Association has been demanding the resumption of the Hetauda Textile Industry for the past four years, he said the government’s decision to run the industry on its own is a positive step.
