Nepal Everest Film Festival 2026 (2026) to award 6 Nepali films
Kathmandu.KATHMANDU: Nepali films screened at the 2026 Nepal Everest Film Festival held in Hunan Province of China on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the People’s Republic of China have been honoured and awarded.
Kabaddi 4, Chhakka Panja 5, Mahajatra, Angela, Tel Visa and Hostel 3 were presented with the slogan ‘Light and Shadow Mingle and Hills Shine Together’.
The festival was held as the first large-scale official screening of Nepali films in China. According to the organizers, it has played an important role in introducing the Nepali film industry to Chinese audience and presenting Nepal’s Himalayan beauty, culture and human story on the international stage.
The
festival ran from April 14 to 19.
