The company has decided to invest in 43 MW Upper Nashyam Hydropower Project and 21 MW Upper Nashyam ‘A’ Hydropower Project to be constructed by Sindhujwala Hydropower Limited.
The Board of Directors of Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Limited has decided to invest 51 percent stake in Sindhujwala Hydropower Company.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on July 5 has decided to invest in the project.
As per the strategy to expand investment in the hydropower sector, Buddhabhumi is entering into a new project.
In recent years, there has been a growing tendency among hydropower companies to make strategic investments in each other’s projects to expand generation capacity, increase project portfolio and ensure long-term returns.
