The general conflict-affected community has been demanding meaningful participation of the victims in the transitional justice process. Protests were held in Mandala. The victims have said that any judicial decision without the participation of the victims will not be acceptable to them. They also called on the government to ensure adequate dialogue and meaningful participation with conflict-affected communities. During the demonstration, the participants stressed the need to establish a commission of investigation on enforced disappeared persons and ensure that the truth and investigation into enforced disappearances are achieved through a credible, impartial and transparent process ।
