Kathmandu. In the first nine months of the current fiscal year (2082÷83, cardamom worth more than Rs 10.5 billion has been exported from Nepal. According to the statistics of the Department of Customs, Nepal exported 5,295 metric tonnes of cardamom worth Rs 10.7 billion till mid-April.
In the same period last year, Nepal had exported 3,444 metric tonnes of cardamom worth Rs 6.26 billion.
