Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Traffic Police took action against 3,501 drivers in the last 24 hours in Kathmandu Valley.
A total of 3,501 drivers were taken for driving under the influence of alcohol (drunk), 69 for not being confident, 158 for red light, 89 for speeding, 172 for lane of speeding, 57 for open doors, 77 for no-horn, 55 for aggravating and boarding, and 2,747 for others, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Naresh Raj Subedi.
“In the last 24 hours, 3,501 people have been prosecuted for various offences,” he said. The total revenue from the action is Rs 25,15,501. ‘
