Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has rejected a writ petition filed by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane. The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to register the petition filed by Ayush Badal.
The writ petition was filed demanding that Lamichhane be restrained from carrying out his duties as a lawmaker. Lamichhane was also charged with money laundering.
A writ petition had been filed at the apex court demanding that Lamichhane, who has been accused of money laundering, be stopped from working as a lawmaker.
