Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has released the minimum wholesale price of agricultural produce for today (Monday). According to the committee, the price of tomato big (Indian) is Rs 100 per kg, tomato small (local) is Rs 55 per kg, tomato small (Indian) is Rs 54 per kg, tomato small (Terai) is Rs 52 per kg, potato red (Indian) is Rs 22 per kg and onion (Indian) is Rs 34 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been fixed at Rs 45 per kg, carrot (Tarai) at Rs 16 per kg, Banda (local) at Rs 35 per kg, Banda (Terai) at Rs 25 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 15 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 20 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 40 per kg and brinjal Dalo at Rs 50 per kg.
Likewise, peas have been sold at Rs 45 per kg, ghee beans (local) at Rs 15 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) at Rs 25 per kg, soybean beans at Rs 120 per kg, bitter gourd at Rs 40 per kg, bottle gourd at Rs 15 per kg, pointed gourd at Rs 60 per kg, Parwar (Tarai) at Rs 60 per kg, Persian cooked at Rs 55 per kg, green farsi (lamcho) at Rs 15 per kg, okra (dallo) at Rs 45 per kg, okra at Rs 45 per kg, Barela at Rs 50 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 65 per kg, pindalu at Rs 45 per kg and squash at Rs 50 per kg.
Likewise, mustard has been fixed at Rs 40 per kg, spinach at Rs 70 per kg, Chamsur at Rs 60 per kg, mustard at Rs 35 per kg, fenugreek at Rs 60 per kg, green onion at Rs 120 per kg, Bakula at Rs 40 per kg, mushroom at Rs 200 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 400 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 280 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 800 per kg.
Apple (bag) has been fixed at Rs 220 per kg, apple (fuji) at Rs 250 per kg, lemon at Rs 370 per kg, banana dozen at Rs 200 per kg, pomegranate at Rs 420 per kg, grapes (green) at Rs 220 per kg, grapes (black) at Rs 350 per kg, watermelon green at Rs 35 per kg, pineapple at Rs 230 per kg, cucumber (local) at Rs 40 per kg, cucumber (local) at Rs 20 per kg and cucumber (hybrid) at Rs 20 per kg and jackfruit at Rs 60 per kg.
