Kathmandu. Mandu Hydropower Limited has decided to distribute 10% Bonus Shares and Cash Dividend to its shareholders. The 225th meeting of the Board of Directors of the company has approved the proposal of distributing dividend from the accumulated profit of the fiscal year 2081/82.
According to the company, the dividend has been proposed on the basis of the income and accumulated profit from the 35 MW Bagmati Small Hydropower Project. As per the decision, 10 percent of the existing paid-up capital of Rs 1.36 billion will be distributed as bonus shares worth Rs 136.36 million.
Similarly, the company has proposed a cash dividend of Rs 7,177,037 equivalent to 0.5263 percent of its paid-up capital for tax purposes on bonus shares.
According to the company, the dividend proposal will be distributed to the shareholders after it is approved by the Electricity Regulatory Commission and the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The board meeting of Mandu Hydropower Limited on Monday informed the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) about the dividend distribution.
