Kathmandu. The price of crude oil in the international market has increased significantly. U. S. crude oil and Brent crude prices both rose by two percent.

WTI crude oil for July delivery rose $1.83, or 2.07 percent, to $90.03 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, rose $1.65 (1.80 per cent) to $93.10 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Exchange.

It has been analysed that the increase in the price of crude oil in the international market will create more pressure in the energy market. Fluctuations in the price of oil in the global market have a direct impact on the cost of the oil importing countries and also the consumer price. CCTV
