. KATHMANDU: The CKS Sahitya Utsav-2083 organized by Campaign Kathmandu School (CKS) concluded on Monday. The festivities began on Saturday.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, litterateur Mukunda Raj Sharma said that literature is an integral part of human life and it works as a medium to encompass all aspects of life including joys and sorrows, good and bad, anger and sensitivity. He said, “Literature is really a medium to encompass every human being’s joys and sorrows, good and bad, anger, sensations and all the experiences of life.”
There is a deep interdependent relationship between life and literature as literature is created from this universe and human life. When you read literature, you get a chance to meet yourself, sometimes you get to know the society and the world. Therefore, literature cannot be separated from human life and human creation. “
He said that there is an interdependent relationship between literature and life as literature is created from this living world and human life. He said that the study of literature provides opportunities to know oneself, society and the world.
Similarly, artist Rashmi Bhatta said that there has been a significant change in the society and every person should work by his or her own name to establish his identity, existence and contribution.
“There’s been a lot of change in society now,” she said. We should work to preserve our name, identity and existence in the society. Instead of identifying yourself with your father’s name, you should name your parents after your father’s name. “
She stressed that one should establish oneself on the basis of one’s own deeds and contributions rather than making one’s identity only by her father’s name.
