Siraha. Police have arrested three persons along with a vehicle that looks like marijuana from Naya Basti Tole of Lahan municipality-3.
According to the District Police Office, Siraha, a joint team of Area Police Office, Lahan and Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Golbazar, Siraha took the action based on a special information at 4.30 pm on Wednesday.
The drugs were found in a white plastic sack hidden inside pear crates in the back of the house after a suspicious Yoddha pickup truck (Ba 21. Cha 5866) was found parked in front of Shyam Kumari Sah’s house.
The seized items include 31 bags of marijuana (653 kg including plastic, 652 kg except plastic bags), 46 pear crates (920 kg) and the pickup truck. The arrestees have been identified as 38-year-old Shyam Kumari Sah of Lahan Municipality-3, Gaurav Mahato, 40, and his 19-year-old son Shivam Sah of Lahan-3. The arrested have been kept at the Area Police Office, Lahan for further investigation, police said.
