The activities of the government seem to make Nepal a playground for foreigners:

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Joint Coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has expressed serious concern over the future of the country, democracy, constitution and republic.

Speaking at the Pradip Nepal Memorial Journalism Award and Suresh Rajak Memorial Photo Journalism Award distribution ceremony here today, he said that he was worried that Nepal was not being a playground for foreigners. He said, “National politics is not moving in the positive direction as we expected.

It is in a state of crisis. There is a fear of what will happen tomorrow. There is concern about the future of the country. Whether the existence of our country, the sovereignty of the country, the territorial integrity of our country and the foreign policy of our country will be maintained or not. There is no playground for foreigners. What will happen to Nepalis when they become the playground of foreigners? We get worried. Stating that Nepal should learn from the incidents of various countries including Iran, he said questions have been raised whether Nepal, the land of peace where Buddha was born, can remain peaceful or not.

He said, “Can Nepal, the land of peace where Buddha was born, live peacefully or not? The actions, activities and behaviors of the present government are making people very suspicious. In all these circumstances, our party needs to be vigilant as a responsible force. We can’t just watch the spectacle. We have to face challenges. “

The work, activities and behavior of the incumbent government have created serious doubts among the people,” he said. In such a situation, his party should adopt alertness as a responsible political force, he said.

“Questions are being raised at the people’s level whether there is any conspiracy against the country’s democracy, constitution and republic,” he said.

He pointed out the need for other responsible political parties to play their role, saying it was the responsibility of the ruling party to reassure the people.

He said, “There is no serious threat to the democracy of our country.” Our constitution is not going to be in jeopardy. There is no conspiracy about our republic. All these questions have arisen. It is the responsibility of those in power now to reassure the people, but if their activities arouse suspicion among the people, then it is also the responsibility of other responsible parties. ’
