Tilchakhola Bridge Construction Completed

Surkhet. The construction of the Tilchakhola road bridge at Baluwachaur, which connects Banfikot Rural Municipality-3 and 4 in Rukum West, has been completed nine months ahead of schedule.
The agreement for the construction of the bridge was signed on July 5, 2002.
According to Ram Chandra BC, chief of Infrastructure Development Office, Chaurjahari, the contractor had completed the construction work by October 2, 2083.
According to him, the total cost of the bridge construction is Rs 8,69,27,924.98 crore. The responsibility for the construction of the bridge was taken by Jwalamukhi Himshikhar Diamond JV, Kathmandu-10, New Baneshwor.
The construction of the bridge is expected to be completed before the scheduled time, which is expected to facilitate the movement of the locals. The construction of the bridge will make it easier for the residents of Banfikot Rural Municipality-3 and 4 to commute especially during the rainy season.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development of Karnali Province Milan Khadka Roka inaugurated the bridge on Wednesday. He thanked the contractors for completing the work before the deadline. Minister
for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Kalyani Khadka was also present on the occasion.
