Biratnagar. Koshi Province Police has tightened security surveillance and checking to control theft, robbery, fraud, drug trafficking and other criminal activities that may take place during the festival season.
Police have been mobilized at various places including the border points to control the sale, distribution and use of firecrackers and firecrackers, especially targeting the Tihar festival, according to Koshi Province Police.
As per the festive security plan, a security team with police dogs has been mobilized and surveillance and checking of vehicles, suspicious materials and people moving has been intensified.
According to the police, firecrackers worth more than
Rs 10.07 million were recovered from different places during the security check.
