. KATHMANDU — President Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the Nepali community has been able to stand with pride today as a result of the sacrifice, courage and bravery of our ancestors.
On Friday, the 225th birth anniversary of national luminary Bhimsen Thapa and the award and felicitation program was organized by the President of the Nepali Congress.
He said, “We can do justice to the present only if we can follow the good side of history.”
I believe that this will also pave the way for the future. He said that the brave ancestors have made sacrifices and contributions for our nation, nationality, national integrity and sovereignty.
President Poudel clarified that the deep faith and commitment to patriotism should not be allowed to deviate from the foundation of mutual brotherhood, friendship, tolerance and unity.
He said, “On the strength of this unity, we should move ahead by making the country prosperous and awakening the feeling of patriotism in the coming generation.”
Let us all work together to expedite the development of the country through good governance by ending corruption, anomalies and anomalies. This will be a true tribute to our brave ancestors including national luminary Bhimsen Thapa. Stating that Bhimsena Thapa who created the image of a multidimensional personality never bowed down against the nation, nationality, national integrity and sovereignty, President Poudel said patriotism was her main mantra.
He said, “Nepal could remain independent because of his patriotic stance even though he had to pay a heavy price in the war with the British.”
