Kathmandu. Recently, Pitambar Khadka committed suicide at Global IME Bank by putting the names and photos of 4 bosses who forced him to die. He wrote the name of 4 people and wrote the message ‘You killed me’. After his death, there is a lot of discussion about the stress faced by the employees of the bank.
Meanwhile, an employee of Global IME Bank has claimed that she is on the verge of death after claiming that she was being sexually harassed.
She has requested to post this news saying that the employees of the Tinpatan branch of the bank have been abusing her, trying to touch her and due to such acts, she is in the mood to give up her body. She has also complained that she is the only woman in the branch where she works, so her colleagues misbehave a lot. She also claimed that she was on the verge of dying because of the abuse by her colleagues.
The victim has further complained that she has also raised this matter with the HR department of the bank, but HR has said that she will be transferred. “The boys here harass me, sometimes touch me, sometimes call me a prostitute. Instead of HR, they say they will transfer me. What is my fault in this? I am on the verge of committing suicide, please share this post,” she wrote in her complaint to the media.
We contacted Bishnu Raut, manager of the Tinpatan branch, to know about this matter, but he could not be contacted.
We then contacted the bank’s grievance officer Anil Joshi to understand the matter, but he did not pick up our calls.
How long will our girls have to suffer such abuse? Can anyone do anything in the bank? Will the bank be awakened only after the death of the employee? The question has been seriously raised.
