Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) senior leader Balendra (Balen) Shah has claimed that Nepal has evidence on the border dispute.
Addressing the first general convention of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) in Chitwan on Sunday, the former Prime Minister said although objections might be raised while holding discussions with different countries regarding the border issue, it should be taken naturally.
He clarified that they have said that they will present evidence after studying the historical documents of the British rule.
“There is no need to worry about the border. When we talk about the border, they also object to talking to any country. He objected, I was surprised. We have proof. Kalapani is a proof of Lipulekh. To get that evidence, we have to first bring the evidence of the British era, then we will bring it. We are not trying to keep the British as mediators. We will talk to our neighbors and arrange it. Nobody should doubt my nationality. ’
Commenting on the political leadership, he said winning people’s trust was the main basis rather than forming individual groups. “To be a good leader, one has to win people’s trust and love. It’s not just about forming a group. ’
He pledged to fulfill the promises made in this election in the next 5 years and said that he would carry a new agenda in the next election.
