Four parliamentary committees meeting
Kathmandu. A meeting of four parliamentary committees of the House of Representatives is taking place today.
The Finance Committee, the International Relations and Tourism Committee, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and the Women and Social Affairs Committee will meet on Friday.
The meeting will be held at 1:00 pm at the committee’s meeting hall in Singha Durbar.
The meeting will hold preliminary discussion on the bill designed to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act-2058 BS. Finance Minister, Finance Ministry, Law Ministry Secretary and Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) representatives have been invited to the meeting.
Similarly, the meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee will be held at 11:00 am.
The meeting will discuss with the concerned experts, the Ministry of Culture, the Commission for Indigenous Nationalities and UNESCO Nepal on the Inland Cultural Heritage (Protection) Bill-2081.
Two meetings of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee have been scheduled.
The first meeting will be held at 9:30 am today to discuss the work progress of the Ministry of Forest and Environment, upcoming action plan and activities related to the forest and environment sector.
Similarly, the second meeting to be held at 12:00 noon will review the procurement, import, stock, distribution status and future supply strategy of chemical fertilizers. Similarly, the meeting of the Women and Social Affairs Committee will be held at 11 am.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the activities and progress of the National Inclusion Commission.
