Messi shared an Instagram message ahead of the World Cup final against Spain, thanking everyone for their role in establishing the Argentine national team as a family.
‘The most beautiful part of all these years was not just the title, but the whole journey together. Our greatest achievement is to support each other in difficult times, to make every moment enjoyable,” Messi wrote.
Eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi thanked all his teammates, coaches and teammates, saying the Argentine team had left an indelible mark on history.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni said his team would have to give their best to win the trophy.
“We have studied Spain’s style of play in detail and Argentina is ready to give their best version,” he said.
Scaloni praised Messi for reaching another World Cup final at the age of 39, calling him one of the greatest players in football history.
He said Messi and the current Argentine team have led the country to “unforgettable success” in recent years. ANI
