Date of Chief Minister’s Conference postponed

The date of the Chief Minister’s Conference has been postponed to

Biratnagar. The date of the Chief Minister’s Conference, which was supposed to be organized by the Koshi Province Government, has been changed.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday decided to hold the conference on October 22 and 23 on October 12 and 28. The chief ministers of all seven provinces will participate in the conference to be held in Biratnagar. The government is planning to discuss the implementation of federalism in the conference. The cabinet also decided to promote the Girija Prasad Koirala Cricket Stadium in Baijanathpur of Biratnagar as the pride project of the province. Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Gombu Sherpa, who is also the spokesperson of the government, informed about the decisions taken by the meeting. The meeting also decided to approve the Provincial Civil Service First Amendment Regulations, 2083. Minister Sherpa said that the government has decided to approve the necessary temporary posts in the Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Tourism, Forest and Environment and the Ministry of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives for the current fiscal year. Likewise, Toyanath Khatiwada ‘Rupesh’ of Biratnagar and Hari Kumari Rai of Khotang have been appointed to the Province

Planning Commission.
