Kathmandu. It has been revealed that Jyoti Prakash Pandey, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Investment Mega Bank, reached Dubai and met with Ncell owner Satish Lal Acharya in connection with the case related to the auction of the property already owned by the government.
According to the WhatsApp chats found by the police during the investigation, Pandey had sent a message to Acharya saying , “Let’s finish it as per our plan“. According to the conclusion of the police investigation, the conversation was related to the auction process.
According to the police, Pandey used to communicate with Acharya on WhatsApp through a mobile phone other than the one he used regularly. The police seized the mobile phone and conducted a digital forensic test.
The police also analysed Pandey’s foreign travel history and found evidence that he had gone to Dubai to discuss the case and met Acharya.
However, in his statement during the investigation, Pandey has denied any ill intention or illegal intention. Police said they were investigating the case based on digital evidences, travel details and other facts.
